Following the Wise Well Woman Conference 2025, I travelled to Malaysia to spend time with my elderly parents and family members. During this visit, I participated in Heart of Prayer, a full-day event focused on intercessory prayer for Malaysia, organized by a local Tamil church and Kirubai Kohout. Attendees of WWW 2025 may recall that Kirubai previously led an impactful and Spirit-guided session. Given Well ministry’s mission to reach women across nations, it was a meaningful experience to pray alongside other multi-cultural Malaysian participants for revival in Malaysia.
The following week, I attended a prophetic weekend at another local church, where Diana Mills, a Well board advisor, helped alongside the church and their organising team host a visiting prophet from India. This event provided valuable insight into the evolving direction and expanding scale of Well’s ministry. Although initially apprehensive about the magnitude of this calling, I left the experience with a profound sense of peace. At these events, I met dedicated prayer warriors—people whose lives radiated peace, strength, and unwavering faith. Their example stirred something deep within me. It reminded me that prayer isn’t just a ritual; it’s a lifeline. Especially during the chaos of work and the weight of stress, I saw how easy it was to drift. The harder life got, the more I found myself reaching for distractions—anything but prayer.
But here’s the truth: distraction doesn’t heal, it only delays. Prayer, on the other hand, grounds us. It realigns our hearts, renews our minds, and reconnects us with the God who gives us strength.
So, this is a call to action—not just for you, but for me too:
Replace distraction with prayer.
When it gets hard, pray harder.
When you feel overwhelmed, pray deeper.
Let prayer be your first response, not your last resort.
As I finish July’s thoughts, you may wonder about my intentions regarding the significant purpose I feel in my life. I am satisfied with developing alongside Well but recognise that true growth often comes from embracing challenging assignments. If I remain entirely comfortable, I risk not fully realising God’s purpose in my life and Well. So, you may see smaller events alongside annual Well conference, to deep dive into smaller topics in a workshop style as a platform for us to hear your stories and God’s redemptive work in your life. I am also a big proponent of encouraging partnerships with other Christian work-related movements. 2 I’d like to encourage you to attend are as follows:
1. She Sells Purple – an opportunity to explore whether ambition is a bad thing or something which can have a deeply Biblical purpose on Monday, 14th July on Is Ambition a Dirty Word?
2. Corporate & Christian –a special masterclass with Corporate & Christian on 16th July at 7 PM (BST) where Paul Michalski will be sharing more of his story, his trials, successes, and the lessons he’s learned along the way.
At WWW 2025 we have had volunteer photographers and videographers who capture thoughtful moments and expressions. Due to popular requests from attendees, and at the courtesy of Oscar-Luigi Veronese Photography, you may access and view your photos. If you would like to download your photos, there is a small fee that pays towards the administrative work related to this exercise, subject to terms and conditions and privacy notice, on the use of the photos. We hope you will appreciate this gesture; however, if this is not widely used then we won’t continue with this service. To access the photos, please send an email to info@womenlifeleadership.org .
Finally, we have locked on April 18th, 2026, for our next conference in London. We will release early bird tickets in August. In the meantime, block out that date now and spread the word.
Blessings,
The Well Team
