At The Well... December 2025 Newsletter

Eph 6: 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

As the Well Board of Advisors & Trustees and I look toward April 18th, 2026, we’re experiencing not just a subtle movement of the Holy Spirit, but a powerful outpouring through visions and dreams as we shape the programme for the Summit. As 2025 comes to a close, I want to share how God has been at work, pruning away dead branches in our hearts and shaping us into “oaks of righteousness.” This final “At the Well...” newsletter for 2025 isn’t about worldly accomplishments or new year resolutions; instead, it focuses on the opportunities God has given us to witness and share remarkable stories of transformed lives.

Throughout the year, we encountered women of unwavering faith who persisted despite persecution, poverty, and hardship. We also supported women struggling to see their calling, future, or purpose; women weighed down by past hurts, shame, rejection, betrayal, and exclusion and encouraged them with God’s wisdom and truth. Turning to my own life, I admit I struggled with self-discipline, often giving in to sugary foods and Netflix binges - habits that hold me back from living my life fully. But I also stand on 2 Timothy 1:7 ‘…for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.’

As we reflect on these challenges, I am so full of expectation and stepping into 2026 armed with Ephesians 1: 19 ‘…and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the mighty working of His strength’. Wow, I have ‘,,,put [my] hope in Christ might bring praise to His glory’ v11-12.   

So, join me as we remember  our daily choices, whether in our workplaces, homes, or communities are opportunities to invite God’s presence and guidance, rather than relying on our own strength or understanding. It is in surrendering these moments to the Holy Spirit that we can discern His leading, find renewed purpose, and witness genuine transformation not just within ourselves, but also in the lives of those around us.
